I’m coming to you a little later than normal this week with my weekend recap since I also had Monday off from work and was busy busy busy all day on Monday with my mom and aunt working on decorating my apartment some more. Thankfully I have people who love me and are willing to drive over an hour to help me hang pictures in my apartment because who knows how this weekends’ projects would have turned out without them! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and that it was at least somewhat sunny where you are! I actually had a pretty jam packed weekend full of time with friends and family, so I’m a happy girl. The only thing that could have made it better would have been more time! Isn’t that always the case though? Anywhoo…
I’m once again coming to you later than normal today (SORRY!)! I had planned on having this post up early this morning for all my new Blog Hop blogging friends on the East Coast, but I got tied up with a couple of things last night and this morning, so here we are! Welcome to my new blogging friends stopping by from the Blog Hop! It’s been great getting to know all of you through your blogs this month! I’ve been loving reading about all your delicious recipes, Ragnar adventures and training plans!

When the opportunity to review Hemp Hearts as a Sweat Pink Ambassador came through my inbox, I jumped at the opportunity to volunteer. I’ve seen so many good things about these little guys that I couldn’t wait to check them out and spread some of the #HempLove with you! Continue reading →
Today I wanted to share with you a quick, easy and festive recipe that I whipped up for Valentine’s Day this year. As I’m sure you’ve probably started to realize, I’m a huge fan of cupcakes (see examples here, here and here), so it should come as no surprise that I just had to create some sort of fun cupcake to celebrate Valentine’s Day! Though I’m not really celebrating this year, I do like to make fun treats to share, so I whipped up these babies to take to some coworkers and to my physical therapy office. Continue reading →

I’m SO SO excited to share this post with you today. When I received an email a few weeks ago asking me to be a part of the virtual book tour for Lauryn Evarts’s book, The Skinny Confidential: A Babe’s Sexy, Sassy Fitness and Lifestyle Guide, I couldn’t respond “YES” fast enough. Once I stopped doing my happy dance long enough to pick my jaw up off the floor, I immediately pulled her book off my shelf (I bought it last March when it came out) and started brainstorming what part of her book I wanted to share with you here on my little corner of the blogosphere. So I may have went a little crazy making 12th Man treats for our Super Bowl party, but I was really feeling inspired by all the green and blue baking supplies at the store, so I figured why not?!?! It’s not very often when I’m feeling a like embracing my inner Martha Stewart, so what’s the harm in going a little crazy. It’s the Super Bowl for goodness sake! Continue reading →
This ecard couldn’t be more true for me! I always get to class early to claim “my bike” and will sometimes not even go to class if I’m running too late because I hate using any other bike in the room. I know, I know. I completely realize how ridiculous that sounds but it’s one of my little corks, I guess. I’ve bonded with that bike over may hours of sweat sessions by now and it just seems wrong to cheat on it with another bike! Maybe I’m a little too attached… Continue reading →
I want to share another super easy holiday treat recipe with you today. The inspiration for this came from this recipe, but we tweaked the ingredients a little to make our own version. I like how these are easy to make, but also impressive looking enough to take to a party and wow all your friends!
