Not sure how you guys feel, but I’m definitely not ready for the weekend to be over. I had a blast visiting with my family, reconnecting with old friends and catching up with friends I haven’t seen in a couple of weeks because of life craziness. There’s honestly nothing better than spending time outside enjoying the beautiful fall weather that Seattle has to offer with awesome people.
Since I’ve got quite a few pictures to share, I’m going to keep the commentary down to one sentence per picture. As always, I’m linking up with Tara at Running N Reading, Katie at Healthy Diva Life and Erin at Her Heartland Soul for their weekend recap linkups. If you have a blog, consider linking up your weekend recap posts too and/or stop by to read what others did over the weekend! So now let’s get into it! Continue reading →
Last Thursday I celebrated the big 30, but I’ve been celebrating all week long. I’ve been told that birth week celebrations are a thing so I’ve been taking full advantage of it! I’ve also got big plans to celebrate with a group of friends next weekend by crossing something off of my bucket list, so I’m really excited for that too! Continue reading →
This weekend was all about running, as all good weekends should be.
My friend, Jenica, ran her first half marathon over the weekend at the Rock and Roll Seattle Half. She totally killed it, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Let’s start from Friday night at the expo!
How was your weekend?!!? Did you get into any fun shenanigans?!?! Since I was crazy busy last weekend, I decided to kick back a little this weekend and enjoy some relaxing time in the sun. Well that and the fact that I over did it a little on Thursday and Friday and was in desperate need of a break and a trip to the chiropractor.
In order to loop you all in on what I’m talking about, I’m going to start my “weekend recap” with photos from my adventures on Thursday and Friday followed by what I did over the weekend. I know… I know… this is a weekend recap, but rules were meant to be broken, right?!! Continue reading →
Hopefully the sun was out in your neck of the woods, because it was BEAUTIFUL around here this weekend! It was shorts, bare feet in the grass and ice cream weather all the way. It’s amazing how much of a difference getting a little sunlight in your day can do to change your mood! I made the mistake of thinking my Fresh Sugar lip balm had SPF in it and ended up with sunburnt lips by the end of the day on Saturday, but it was well worth it to spend the day running around outside chasing the little ones that were in town visiting.
I’m coming to you a little later than normal this week with my weekend recap since I also had Monday off from work and was busy busy busy all day on Monday with my mom and aunt working on decorating my apartment some more. Thankfully I have people who love me and are willing to drive over an hour to help me hang pictures in my apartment because who knows how this weekends’ projects would have turned out without them! Hopefully you had a great weekend so that having to go back to work on Monday seems a little less unbearable for you! I know this week is going to be a busy one for me, since I have stuff to catch up on from last week still, a team event to help plan and everyday random fires that always seem to come up so I took the weekend as a welcomed break from the hustle for awhile! 🙂
What I thought was going to be a low key weekend, actually turned in to a pretty busy one. I’m not complaining though! I like getting out and doing exploring a little on the weekends!
Sometimes you just need a weekend full of fresh air, sunshine, family time and puppies to recharge. It was a beautiful weekend in the PNW this weekend with beautiful weather and temperatures in the high 70’s so I tried to take advantage of it as much as possible. After spending the whole week looking at the sun through a window by my desk, I figured it was about time to get out and soak up some vitamin d!
Did you have a great weekend? I sure hope it was as pretty where you are as it was here!
It was a beautiful weekend in my neck of the woods so I tried to take advantage of it as much as I could. I somehow managed to jam in lots of friends and family time, while also relaxing, doing all of my household stuff and even fitting in a nap. Not sure how all of that happened, but I’m not complaining!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I know I did, despite the fact that Chick Fil A is trying to ruin my life by being closed on Sundays (not that I’m holding a grudge or anything 🙂 I spent the weekend at home with my parents relaxing and soaking up some much needed puppy time, so even Chick Fil A couldn’t ruin my mood!
