I know it’s been a long time since we’ve had a chance to catch up but I wanted to check in with you today on #WeirdWorkout. It’s important to mix things up when it comes to your workouts to keep things interesting and exciting, keep your body guessing about what’s coming next and to try out some fun new things that you might not normally try. So when prAna and Organic Valley reached out to me to partner with them to help promote their #WeirdWorkout contest, I was all in.
Before we get to the details of the super awesome contest and a discount that you’ll want to make sure to check out, I thought I would share some ideas of how you can get your #WeirdWorkout on!
Even though fall is in the air and the temperature is starting to drop, that doesn’t mean we have to give in to the season and move all of our workouts inside until spring comes around again. Even though I live in the rainy city, when we’re not drowning from the torrential downpours we’ve been having lately, it’s actually the perfect temperature outside to get a sweat on! So since time to enjoy an outdoor workout is ticking down, I thought I’d put together a little park bench workout for you all to try out.
Are you ready to get your sweat on this lovely Workout Wednesday? I know I am!
This weeks’ workout is focusing on core work for runners. I’ve always heard that having a strong core is important as a runner because it helps you maintain proper form during fatigue and allows you to run at a faster pace, while also protecting your lower back and knees, but I never really understood why. So lucky for you, I decided to do the research for all of us and share my findings with you! You’re welcome! 🙂
Welcome to Wednesday! I don’t know about you, but I’m sure glad this is a short week. The fact that as soon as we hit September 1st, it immediately turned from nice sunny days to cloudy, grey, cold and rainy is getting to me a little. What about you?
