Beats Half Marathon Training – Week 5 (if we can actually even call this one training…)

Hello everyone!

How’s everyone doing this week so far? I know Tuesday is a little late to post a training recap, but I was debating if I should even write this post at all because I didn’t do much training last week. I figured though for the sake of transparency and to make sure I’m not just showing the good on here, but the bad and the ugly also, we should probably dig into what happened last week.

What I’ve Been Up To Since I’ve Been MIA Without Internet!

Hey everyone!

I apologize for being completely MIA this last week, but I burned up all the personal hotspot access on my phone during my first two days in my new apartment posting two blog posts last Monday and streaming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (poor Peeta!) that I’ve been kind of off the grid lately. I’m working to catch up on all of your comments and have some fun new posts in the works though, so thank you all so much for sticking with me during all of this! If you haven’t already, make sure you check out my fun giveaway from Fun Fit Feet before it ends later this week!  Continue reading

I’ve never sweat so much watching someone else workout in my life…

OH.MY.GOSH. Seriously. I can’t even get over the Seahawks vs. Packers game. I’ve never sweat so much watching someone else work out in my life! I’ve also never screamed so much at a TV in my life. What a game. Like seriously though. What a game. Continue reading

Mele Kalikimaka Gingerbread House and the Best Weekend Ever!

Hey there!

Have you ever had one of those weekends that just completely left you revitalized and like an entirely different person than you were when you left work on Friday evening? This weekend was one of those weekends for me. It was full of everything I loved most in life: family, friends and fun which was just simply good for the soul. I’m definitely sad it’s over, but feeling much more ready than I normally am to tackle another Monday morning so there’s that!

I was up to a lot of crazy shenanigans this weekend, so here’s a recap of everything with one sentence per picture! Enjoy! Continue reading

Weekend in Review: Pinterest Fail, Reindeer Run 5k and Seahawks Tree

Hey there!

Did you guys have a good weekend? My weekend was the perfect combination of fun time with friends and family and relaxing and doing nothing time. Perfection. All of my weekend photos came from my adventures on Saturday, because I spent Sunday napping, catching up on some of my favorite shows and finishing a good book (I was reading “Mile Markers” by Kristin Armstrong). When I moved on to my next book,”Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be a Grown-up” by Grace Helbig, I realized I all of the books I’ve read lately (“Daily Love: Growing Into Grace,” “Mile Markers” and “Grace’s Guide: The Art of Pretending to Be A Grown-up”) were all written by authors made famous by social media, vlogging and blogging. Interesting.

Anywhoo… here’s some pictures from my weekend! Enjoy!

Thanksgiving Weekend Recap – One Sentence Per Picture

Hey there!

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Were you able to spend time with some of the important people in your life and eat way too much turkey? I know I did! Is it just me, or does anyone else find it interesting that Americans are known for being over weight and we have a holiday that is centered around over eating? I heard someone mention that on the radio the other day and it made me laugh a little to myself in the car as I was drinking my hot chocolate, so clearly I’m one to talk here!

Anyways… I had so much fun hanging out with friends and family over the long weekend that I feel like I need a weekend to recover from my weekend! Do you ever have that happen? I just want to make the most of my time off and pack all of the fun in that I can but then by Monday, I’m always struggling to wake up for work in the morning!  Since I have so much to share with you, but don’t want to bore you with a bunch of long winded stories, I figured I’d let the pictures do the talking and only give you one sentence per photo! Sound good? Here we go!
