Hey there!
Sometimes you just need a weekend full of fresh air, sunshine, family time and puppies to recharge. It was a beautiful weekend in the PNW this weekend with beautiful weather and temperatures in the high 70’s so I tried to take advantage of it as much as possible. After spending the whole week looking at the sun through a window by my desk, I figured it was about time to get out and soak up some vitamin d!
My sweet puppy, Bella, is not super excited about getting her photo taken, so I had to snap this one quickly before she decided to move.
On Saturday, I went with my mom and aunt to Snohomish, WA (about an hour and a half NE from where I live) for an event called “A Charming Day In Snohomish.”
At the start of the walk you receive a charm bracelet and then walk around to 26 different locally owned stores collecting charms for your bracelet.
It was such a good way to bring in business to their small downtown area and we had an absolute blast checking out all of the shops. I even picked out some cute wall decorations and knick knacks to decorate my apartment with. I always like shopping in places like these because it’s a great way to find different and unique things that add a touch of something special to your space.
We stopped about half way through our day to spilt some treats from a delicious bakery. YUM!
The three of us at the end of the day…
and some silly pictures!
Since the part of town we were in was along the river, we had a beautiful view of the river on the way back to the car.
After some dinner that included an insane amount of chips and salsa because we were starving…
We put together our bracelets at my aunts house.
The finished product 🙂
Mom & daughter silly bracelet snapshot! Thanks for being the best mom a girl could ask for. I love you!
And in case you’re curious… here’s a photo of the cute little things I picked up on our shopping day.
Here’s a closer photo of the prettiest and most wonderful smelling candle I’ve ever seen/smelled!

Hmmm. I’m currently reading Gone Girl and am pretty content with it. I really enjoyed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series. And recently read a book called Jesus Land by Julie (Julia?) Scheeres. Pretty good.
