Remember me?!?! I know I keep apologizing for being MIA lately. I’ve been spending the last couple weeks trying to figure out what my new normal is between working at least 9 hour days, while still trying to fit in time for friends, family, outings with coworkers, workouts, blogging and SLEEP.
Since today is the start of a new week (spoiler alert: I don’t write these posts at 7am in the morning when they go live, I actually write them the night before.), and since I feel like I’m getting a little bit of a better grasp of things at work, I’m working to reincorporate things like blogging and working out back into my schedule.
Happy Tuesday everyone! Sorry for being a MIA yesterday. My life has been a little bit of a whirlwind lately. I spent the ENTIRE weekend from when I woke up to the time I went to bed touring apartments and looking at every single furniture place in town trying to pick up everything I need before my big move this Saturday. Oh yeah… I forgot to mention… I FINALLY FOUND AN APARTMENT! I filled out an application on Saturday evening and was approved by Sunday morning and signed my lease yesterday morning! EEEKKK! I’m going to let you in on my dirty little secret here. Are you ready? Moderation. I love love love junk food. Froyo is practically it’s own food group in my diet during the warmer months of the year. Now I’m not saying that’s something that I’m proud of, but it is what it is. If I want something, I’m most likely going to eat it. Now that doesn’t mean I’m going to smash my face into a big bowl of froyo and go to town or that I’m going to make a pit stop at Menchies EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. the thought of froyo crosses my mind either. It means if I’m REALLY craving something, I’m going to eat it and move on with my life.
