Hey there!
I hope you had a happy Valentine’s Day and a wonderful weekend. For those of you that are lucky enough to have Presidents’ Day off, you’re still in full-fledged glorious weekend mode (like me)! I started out with really big plans for my weekend and all that I wanted to accomplish and ended up accomplishing only about 30% of what I set out to accomplish. *sighs* Isn’t that the way weekends go though? They always start full of such anticipation and then reality (and sleep deprivation) starts to kick in and bring you back down to Earth? Maybe it’s just me…
Anyhoo… here’s some photos from my weekend. Enjoy!
I went out to dinner on Valentine’s Day with my parents so naturally I had to put on my finest heart sweatshirt for the occasion. I’ve had this sweatshirt for approximately 2.5 years and just now realized that the orange part of the heart is the shape of the state of California, which makes since because the shirt says “California Dreamin'” on it in cursive along the side of the state. I cannot believe it took me this long to figure this out.
My lovely parents ❤
I ordered a kale and roasted brussel sprout salad with candied pecans, cranberries, grapes, blueberries, goat cheese and blacked chicken. YUM!
Some day I hope to find someone who makes me post a FB status like this. My cousin posted this the other day about her husband. I always knew he was a keeper! I just need to find my match now!
But until then, I will treat myself to a V-Day present I’ve had my eye on for a long time but never broke down to buy until now…
What’s in the bag you ask? Good question! These pants! I’m in love!
On Sunday I woke up feeling a little under the weather so this was the theme of the day…
But when I did finally bother to get out of bed, it looked a little something like this. #mealofchampions
Questions of the Day:
Did you celebrate Valentine’s Day? What did you do?
If you’re single, did you buy yourself a little something special?
What’s your favorite food to eat when you’re sick?
Today I’m linking up to Healthy Diva Life, Her Heartland Soul, Life of Meg & Running N Reading.
I sure hope you start to feel better from your accident.

I love those pants! How fun are they?!? You’re going to make all the ladies in your exercise classes look like unstylish frumps next to you. 🙂
I really hope you’re feeling better. Spending an entire day in bed during the weekend isn’t a fun thing to do.
