Hey there!
I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Were you able to spend time with some of the important people in your life and eat way too much turkey? I know I did! Is it just me, or does anyone else find it interesting that Americans are known for being over weight and we have a holiday that is centered around over eating? I heard someone mention that on the radio the other day and it made me laugh a little to myself in the car as I was drinking my hot chocolate, so clearly I’m one to talk here!
Anyways… I had so much fun hanging out with friends and family over the long weekend that I feel like I need a weekend to recover from my weekend! Do you ever have that happen? I just want to make the most of my time off and pack all of the fun in that I can but then by Monday, I’m always struggling to wake up for work in the morning! Since I have so much to share with you, but don’t want to bore you with a bunch of long winded stories, I figured I’d let the pictures do the talking and only give you one sentence per photo! Sound good? Here we go!
My mom and I made these loaded pretzel sticks before we headed over to my aunt and uncles for Thanksgiving festivities! (post on these coming soon!)
I love my dad!

I’ve never felt more American than I did watching the Seahawks play on Thanksgiving day with my family.
Meet the newest addition to my holiday decoration collection, a sock snowman I picked up at a holiday craft festival.
Awkward sister love over enchiladas after the craft festival.
I scored this awesome shirt on sale at Kohl’s.
It was around 28 degrees out so red cups were a must! (My mom is holding my aunt’s drink while she was taking our photo.)
Things I saw shopping at Target + Hobby Lobby that made me smile.
It took us awhile to find a place serving brunch at 3pm, but we finally found it and it was delicious.
Another day of below freezing temperatures, so more red cups happened.
Questions of the Day:
What did you do on Turkey Day?
Did you score anything awesome during Black Friday shopping?
What’s your favorite holiday drink?

I ran a 5K, drank champagne, and ate way too much stuffing!
I didn’t go Black Friday shopping because I was in downtown Seattle and we had other plans. I contemplated dropping in the the stores in the late afternoon but figured it would be too hectic with everyone there for the tree-lighting. By not going, I fortunately avoided getting caught in the protests!
My favorite holiday drink is the new Chestnut Praline Latte at Starbucks. It’s so good that it’s stolen my heart from my old favorite, the Salted Caramel Mocha. 🙂

Sounds like quite the eventful day! I didn’t do any black Friday shopping either. It’s honestly just not worth it to me. I did however do some damage on Cyber Monday!

I knew about that. My mom and aunt are obsessed with Hobby Lobby.

Tried to stay away from Black Friday this year – I always end up buying tons of crap I don’t really need/want because it’s cheap.
My fave holiday drink is Caramel Apple Cider. Yummmm…..
